Fine Arts Painter Mr J Pearson completed his Bachelor of fine Arts at Byam Shaw School of Art in the United Kingdom In 1988. He has Paris, France, most recently in Mittagong NSW. Pearson has shown his unique attractively circumscribed style of painting from beautifully executed portraits to scenes of fleeting and whimsical moments in mythology and everyday life, since the 1980's.

 

In Australia Mr Pearson's works have been submitted in many solo exhibitions and to his name he has won much acclaim with sales all around the world. Mr Pearson has held a deep interest in operatic performance for along time with a particular affinity for for the dramatic work of German Composer and Conductor R Wagner. As an unofficial playful artist in residence at the English National Opera Theatre, Mr Pearson has spent many days observing performances from the beside the stage, creating observational interpretations and developing his style of theatrical ideas for paintings. Mr Pearson's (interest for major opera has led Mr Pearson to paint a portrait of baritone Jud Arthur, from The Australian Opera Company, for entry in the Archibald prize.

Justins communicative works depict a range of mystifying landscapes, grasping Anachronistic forms of moral ambiguity and distorted characteristics whilst others are celebrations of heroic strength and revolt. They are antic icons celebrating Rhine maidens, Deity and malign feelings which are all too human in nature. He is represented in private and corporate collections in New Zealand, Australia and the UK and has won several awards including the Southern Highlands Portrait Prize, 2013, the Fettlers Heritage Art Prize 2011 and the Heysen Prize in 2007.
